I’m Marisa

Mari for short. I’m a freelance Brand Design Leader based in Portland, Oregon focused on building relationships within the Food and Beverage space.

I’m who I am in part to my Italian–Slovak traditions, where friends and family gathered around the table, helping themselves to homemade tomato sauce and potato pierogis.

I like to think of my clients as invited guests to my dinner party, people whom I’d warmly welcome over to exchange ideas over a meal. Bringing people together informs so much of my work.

Over the course of more than a decade, I’ve acted as a designer, director, strategist, and creative partner (often at the same time)—serving brands with fresh ideas and experiences at every touchpoint.
